NOTE M1010 trucks with retrofit wiring will have additional wiring from engine wiring harness block (38) to current/voltage regulator (49). Ensure that position of retrofit wiring is noted for installation. Remove and discard 6 tie-down straps securing retrofit wiring to engine wiring harness. Remove 2 screws and current/voltage regulator cover. Remove 5 nuts (51) and Iockwashers, and disconnect leads from current/voltage regulator relay (48). Remove 5 nuts (50) and Iockwashers, and disconnect leads from current/voltage regulator (49). Unsnap engine wiring harness from left fenderwell (47). Discard Iockwashers. TA50841 4-75
