TM 9-2320-289-20 4-18. BLACKOUT LIGHT SWITCHES REPLACEMENT. This task covers: a. Removal b. Installation INITIAL SETUP: Equipment Condition Both battery negative cables disconnected. (See paragraph 4-38) Instrument cluster plate removed. (See paragraph 4-7) a. REMOVAL 1. Remove nut (3) and washer (4). Remove switch (2) and washer (5). Disconnect lead (1) from switch. 1. Connect lead (1) to switch (2). Install washer (5) on switch and place switch through mounting plate (6). Install washer (4) and nut (3) on switch. FOLLOW-ON TASKS: Check operation of blackout light.
