TM 9-2320-289-20 4-17. PARKING BRAKE SWITCH REPLACEMENT. This task covers: a. Removal b. Installation INITIAL SETUP: Equipment Condition Both battery negative cables disconnected. (See paragraph 4-38) Hazard flasher removed from fuse box. (See paragraph 4-12) 1. Disconnect lead (4) from parking brake switch (2). 2. Remove screw (3) and parking brake switch (2) from bracket (1). 1. Install parking brake switch (2) on bracket (1) with screw (3). 2. Connect lead (4) to parking brake switch (2). FOLLOW-ON TASKS: Install hazard flasher on fuse box. (See paragraph 4-12) Connect both battery negative cables. (See paragraph 4-38) Check operation of parking brake indicator light. TA49878 4-39
