(See paragraph3-9) Disconnect lead from oilpressure sending unit (2). Remove oilpressure sending unit from fitting (3).Remove fitting from engine block (1).2.Draincoolingsystem.(Seeparagraph 3-30)Disconnectleadfrom coolant temperature sendingunit (4). Remove coolant temperaturesending unit from engine block (1).Clean old pipe sealant from engineblock.NOTEIf installing coolant temperaturesending unit (4), perform step1.If installing oil pressure sendingunit (2), perform step 2.1.Coat coolant temperature sendingunit (4) threads with pipe sealant andinstall on engine block (1).
