d. Intermediate Clutch
1.
Position front of case (6) up.
2.
Soak three clutch disks (4) in transmission fluid.
3.
Install three steel clutch plates (5) and clutch disks (4) in case (6). Start with steel clutch plate (5)
then alternate between clutch disks (4) and steel clutch plates (5).
4.
Install intermediate clutch backing plate (3), with ridge (2) facing up, and snapring (1). Locate gap
in snapring (1) opposite front band anchor pin (7).
