Connect both battery negative cables. (See paragraph 4-38)
2.
Hold personnel heater switch in START position. Continue operation until a clean, steady
flow of fuel is obtained, then shut off personnel heater. Connect hose (5) to personnel heater
(1).

Connect wiring

personnel heater (1).

Remove personnel heater (1) cover.
Connect plastic tube to bleed port
(31). Open bleed port. Hold cab
heater switch in START position.
Continue operation until a clean,
steady flow of fuel is obtained, then
shut off cab heater. Close bleed port
and remove plastic tube.
5.
Install personnel heater (1) cover.
6.
Install outside access panel on right
rear ambulance body.
