A fire extinguisher must be on hand in work area. Failure to followthis warning may result in serious injury or death.NOTEIf removing cut-out switch (7), perform steps 3, 6, and 7.Loosen 2 nuts (4) and disconnect intake pipe (16) and output pipe (3) from 2 fittings (1 and15).NOTETrucks equipped with winterization kits will have an engine coolant heaterfuel line (2) at fitting (1) instead of cap (14) and gasket (13).Remove 2 fittings (1 and 15) from heater fuel pump (5), and cap (14) and gasket (13) fromfitting (1) if damaged. Discard gasket if removed.Disconnect 2 electrical connectors (10).RemoveRemoveRemoveRemove2 bolts (12) and heater fuel pump (5).
