This task covers:
a. Removal
b. Installation
INITIAL SETUP:
Materials/Parts
Tools/Test Equipment
• Three Iockwashers
• Torque wrench
NOTE
If removing shock absorber (3),
perform step 1.
If removing spring bumper
(10), perform step 2.
1.
Remove nut (7), Iockwasher (6), and
washer (5) or nut (2) and Iockwasher
(1). Remove nut (11), Iockwasher
(12), and bolt (13), and remove
shock
absorber
(3) .
Discard
Iockwashers (1 or 6, and 12).
2.
Remove nut (8), Iockwasher (9), and
spring
bumper
(10).
Discard
Iockwasher.
