ADJUSTMENT
1.
Start engine and allow it to reach normal operating temperature.
2.
Connect STE/lCE tester to STE/lCE DCA connector under dash. (See TM 9-4910-571-12&P)
3.
Adjust low idle speed screw (6) on
fuel injector pump (5) to 625 rpm for
all except M1010 and 725 rpm for
M1010.
4.
Remove connector (1) from fast idle
solenoid (4).
CAUTION
Connecting insulated jumper wire
to any terminal other than front
positive (+) terminal will result in
equipment damage.
5.
Use an insulated jumper wire from
front battery positive (+) terminal to
adenoid terminal (3) to energize fast
idle solenoid (4).
