Momentarily open throttle to ensure
that fast idle solenoid plunger (2) is
energized and fully extended.
Adjust extended fast idle solenoid
plunger (2) by turning hex head of
fast idle solenoid plunger to an engine
fast idle speed of 800 rpm.
Turn off engine.
Remove jumper wire and install
connector (1) to fast idle solenoid
(4) .
Remove STE/lCE tester from STE/lCE
DCA connector. (See TM 9-4910-
571-12&P)
