10-17. REAR BENCH SEAT REPAIR (M1009) (Con’t).

Separate seatback assembly (3) from bench seat assembly (2).
3 .
Unzip zipper and remove trim (4) from seatback assembly (3), and remove pad (5) from
seatback frame assembly (6).
4 .
Inspect trim (4), seatback frame assembly (6), and pad (5) for damage. Replace if damaged.
5 .
Remove 16 screws (17) and remove bench seat trim panel (16).
6 .
Mark one end of front hinge torque rod (14) to ensure proper assembly, and remove bolt (15)
and front hinge torque rod.
