Move insulation out of the way. Remove 5 bolts (11) from upper cover (8) and lower cover
(12).
NOTE
Ensure that front seat is moved as far back as possible to provide
maximum clearance.
6 .
While holding steering shaft (10), rotate steering column (9) to allow transmission gearshift
lever to clear dash. Carefully remove steering column assembly.

Remove upper cover (8) and lower cover (12) from seal (7),
