4. Install new Iockwasher, ground strap,
and leads on engine stud with nut.
Connect glow plug wiring harness (7)
to temperature sensor (6). Connect
glow plug leads.
FOLLOW-ON TASKS:
l Install pushrods, rocker arm assemblies, and rocker arm covers. (See paragraph 3-26)
l Install thermostat and crossover pipe. (See TM 9-2320-289-20)
• Connect radiator, bypass, and heater hoses (if being performed in truck). (See
TM 9-2320-289-20)
l Install exhaust manifold. (See TM 9-2320-289-20)
• Install right side alternator or Ml 010 alternator bracket if removed. (See TM 9-2320-289-20)
l Install left side alternator bracket if removed. (See TM 9-2320-289-20)
l Install air conditioner compressor brackets if removed. (See paragraph 10-24)
• Install oil level indicator tube if removed. (See TM 9-2320-289-20)
