Wear heavy gloves when handling glass.

REMOVAL

WARNING
Wear heavy gloves when handling glass to avoid risk of injury.
If glass is cracked but still intact, crisscross glass with masking tape to
reduce risk of injury to personnel.
NOTE
Chalk mark in step 1 will be used during inspection of window flange (4).
If fixed glass (3) has a crack which
extends to edge of glass glazing (2),
mark door panel (1), with a piece of
chalk, at that point.
Run a putty knife around window on
inside and outside between glass
glazing (2) and door panel (1).
Have an assistant stand outside next
to window.
Use a blunt tool to force edge of glass
g l a z i n g o f f w i n d o w f l a n g e ( 4 ) of
window opening inside cab, while
pushing out on fixed glass (3).
Continue around window opening until
fixed glass (3) and glass glazing (2)
are free.
Have assistant remove fixed glass (3)
and glass glazing (2) from outside.
