Install lower steering shaft (6) onto upper shaft withnotch in cover toward flat side of spline on upper shaft. Tap into place.2.Tap bolt into upper and lower steering shafts (5 and 6) and install nut.3.Install 2 nuts (4 and 7), washers (3 and 8), and flanged end of lower steering shaft (6) to flexiblecoupling (2) at steering gear (1).
