Remove snapring (6)NOTEfrom cover (7).Ensure that lower steering shaft (1)and cover (7) are marked forproper alinement during assembly.2. Mark cover (7) and lower steeringshaft (1). Tap cover off of lowersteering shaft, and remove bearingblocks (3) and tension spring (5) frompin (8), Remove washer (4) frominside seal (2).3. Replace all damaged components,b .ASSEMBLY1.Fill seal (2) with grease and install washer (4) into lip of seal. Coat pin (8) with grease, and installtension spring (5) and bearing blocks (3) onto pin.2.Aline marks on cover (7) and end of lower steering shaft (1) , and push cover over end of lowersteering shaft.
