8. If removed, install steering arm (1)
over 3 steering arm studs (2). Install
3 stud adapters (4). Install 3 new
locknuts (3) and tighten to 90 lb.-ft.
(122 N.m).
FOLLOW-ON TASKS:
l Install front axle shaft. (See paragraph 6-4)
• Connect connecting rod to steering arm if removed. (See TM 9-2320-289-20)
l Install steering tie-rod. (See TM 9-2320-289-20)
