An explosion may occur causing serious injuryor death to personnel.If indicator (5) appears dark with no green dot, recharge and test battery.TM 9-6140-200-14)If indicator (5) shows a clear or light yellow dot, replace battery.Remove battery caps and check electrolyte level. If level is low, notify your supervisor.Check specific gravity. (See TM 9-6140-200-14)Visually check for corrosion and damage.(SeeIf corroded, clean battery posts and cable connections with wire brush and soda solution, andlightly coat battery posts with grease.
