Inspect pump bushing (2) for damage. If damaged, perform steps 7 and 8. If not, go to step 9.

Using driver handle and bushing remover and installer J21465-17, remove bushing (2) from pump
body (1).
8.
Using driver handle and bushing remover and installer J21465-17, install bushing (2) in pump
body (1) until bushing (2) is 0.010 in. (0.25 mm) below gear pocket face (3).
