Using flat-tip screwdriver, remove.

NOTE
The dirt the ground rod sits in must be soaked with water to
make removal of ground rod easier. Ground rod comes in three
sections. Disconnect top two sections before removing third
sect ion.
Using sledge hammer, remove.
