Remove and discardlocknut (18). Remove clutch snapring(19).Remove clutch (17) using hub anddrive puller and installer. Remove keyfrom shaft (27) or clutch.Removepulleysnapring(20) .Remove pulley (23) with pulleybearing (22).Remove pulley bearing retaining ring(21). Drive out pulley bearing (22).Mark relationship of coil housingterminals (26) to compressor shell(29). Remove coil housing retainingring (24). Remove coil housing (25).Remove compressor assembly fromholdingfixture (28). Remove 2preformed packing inserts (36) fromrear head (34). Remove pressurerelease valve (37) and preformedpacking insert (38) from rear head.Discard preformed packing inserts.8 .Remove 4 nuts (35) and rear head (34) from compressor shell (29).
