INSTALLATION
NOTE
• Ensure that all components are lubricated with lubricating oil as they
are installed.
l If original drive pinion and rear bearing (12) are being reused, perform
steps 1 and 11 through 17. Original shim thickness is used,
l If a new drive pinion or rear bearing (12) are being installed, perform
steps 1-17.

Install front bearing cup (9) and rear bearing cup (7) in housing (4) with wider, open ends
facing outward. Check both bores to ensure that bearing cups are fully seated.
