11. Place shim of correct thickness as
determined in step 10, or original
shim if drive pinion (3) was not
replaced,
on drive pinion shaft
against head. Install rear bearing (12)
on drive pinion shaft.
12.
Install front bearing (10) in bearing cup (9) in housing (4) bore.
13.
Coat lips of new pinion oil seal (11) with molybdenum grease and install squarely into housing
(4) bore until flush with housing.
