Remove oil seal (11 ) and front bearing (10). Remove spacer (8) from drive pinion (3) shaft,
Discard oil seal and spacer.
CAUTION
Care should be taken when removing bearing cups (7 and 9). Opposite
ends of bearing cups should be alternately tapped to avoid their becoming
cocked in housing (4). Failure to follow this caution may result in damage
to bearing cups and to housing bore.

Remove front bearing cup (9) and rear bearing cup (7) from housing (4).

Using puller kit and press, remove
rear ‘bearing (12)
(3) shaft.
8.
Remove shim(s)
rear bearing (12)
