• One end cap seal
(See paragraph 3-37)
l One filter screen seal
• One locking seal
Tools/Test Equipment
• One regulator seal
. Crowfoot wrench
l Calibration fluid (Item 13, Appendix B)
l Torque wrench
l Grease (Item 36, Appendix B)

REMOVAL
CAUTION
Ensure that work area, tools, and hands are kept clean when repairing fuel
injector pump. Failure to follow this caution may result in damage to fuel
injector pump components.
NOTE
• Ensure that each component is placed in calibration fluid as it is
removed.
l If removing end cap (3) and regulator (6) assembly, Perform steps 1
and 2.

Remove screw (4), plate (1), and
locking seal from hydraulic head (2).
Discard locking seal.
