TRANSMISSION OIL PUMP MAINTENANCE (Con’t).
CAUTION
Care must be taken to drive outward IN UNISON on both slide hammers
(4). Failure to follow this caution may cause oil pump assembly (3) to
become cocked in transmission case.

Drive outward on both slide hammers
(4) and remove oil pump assembly
(3) from transmission case. Remove
slide hammers.

Remove “ O“ ring seal (15) from oil
pump assembly (3). Remove oil
pump cover gasket (8). Discard “O”
ring seal and oil pump cover gasket.
5.
Remove 2 oil seal rings (10) from sleeve and discard, Remove selective washer (14).
