InstallationINITIAL SETUP:Materials/PartsGeneral Safety Instructions• Four copper washers• Always wear goggles when working on• Two locknutsunderside of truck and disconnectingbrake lines.1.2.3.4.WARNINGAlways wear goggles when bleeding brakes.may result in serious eye injury.CAUTIONFailure to follow this warningPlug all openings and connections immediately after disconnection toprevent contamination of brake system.NOTE• Use suitable container to catch brake fluid.• If removing combination valve (20), perform steps 3-6.Disconnect brake pipes (2 and 3)from master cylinder (1).Remove screw (15) and clip (26)from brake pipes (2 and 3). Removeretainer (4) as required.Loosen brake pipes (2 and 3) atcombination valve (20). Remove 2locknuts (21) and bolts (23), and pullcombinationvalveawayfromcrossmember. Discard locknuts.Disconnect brake pipes (2 and 3)from combination valve (20), Inspectfittings for damage and replace asrequired.TA496737-24
